Happy New Year 2025
We have a new venue for January and February of this year, The Glass House in Houghton, nr Stockbridge. We are very excited about this new studio space…partly because it has an excellent cafe on site!
As well as a new studio space at The Glass House, we will continue to use Mottisfont Village Hall, nr Romsey, and Casa Rosa in Andalucia, Spain.
Below is more information about these fantastic venues for those of you who are new to Artdrawpaint.
The Glass House,
Welcome to The Glass House at Houghton Lodge Gardens.
Nestled in the charming village of Houghton, just outside Stockbridge, you’ll find a beautiful Tea Room. They offer a range of freshly prepared dishes and snacks, as well as hot and cold drinks. The menu will change with seasonality, so you’ll always find something different every time you visit. The Glass House is part of the Wilds and Co family, which includes The Greyhound on the Test, in Stockbridge.
Our studio space at The Glasshouse overlooks the spectacular Houghton Lodge Gardens. It has the cafe and gift shop at one end and the orchid house is at the other.

Mottisfont Village Hall
The building was originally the school serving the locality. It was renovated in the early 90s and turned into a fully functioning Village Hall. The hall was built over 100 years ago. It enjoys fine views over the Dun valley from its prominent position on Keepers Lane.
Many children attended the school over the years, and photographs through the ages adorn the walls inside the hall. Many who attended still live locally.
The wooden building adjacent to the hall was originally the village scout hut and was positioned in Mottisfont. After serving as the home guard HQ during WW2, it was moved to the school. There, it was turned into a kitchen/dining area.
The Hall is spacious, rural and peaceful with splendid views. It is an excellent space for a studio.

Casa Rosa, Periana, Andalucia, Spain
About Casa Rosa Estate
Casa Rosa Estate is an idyllic retreat, hidden in the mountains of sunny Andalucia in Southern Spain, only a short drive from the Costa del Sol and Malaga.
The estate has two properties. Casa Rosa sleeps up to 12 people. It features extensive mature gardens, a swimming pool, and tennis courts. There’s lots to do in and around the property making it perfect for artists, yet blissful for walkers, sun-worshippers, photographers and nature lovers. The estate truly is holiday heaven in an ancient and beautiful corner of Spain.
Rosie Tatham and her family have spent large parts of their lives in the hills of Andalucia. They are a family of artists and diplomats. They have traveled the world collecting ideas, inspiration, gastronomic wonders, and spectacular objets d’art from all corners of the globe. Rosie has been running the kitchen at Casa Rosa for 15 years, cooking up a storm of delicious local ingredients to thrill the palates of both clients and friends.
