A workshop with Katie Sollohub is an exciting event at Hampshire Art studio. We know she will take us and the students to an entirely new experience of drawing, memory, space and calm. Whatever description we offer of Katie’s courses the experience is always richer and more exciting.
Explore a pattern-based interpretation of the landscape around the river Dever through drawing from observation. We will look at how patterns, rhythms and textures can represent a sense of place, an atmosphere, movement and light.
We want to celebrate our glorious landscape, the river Dever, chalk flora, trees, hills, paths and byways. We have gathered an outstanding group of tutors who will bring their individual approaches to the theme of Landscape in June.
