I have an exhibition coming up at the beginning of December; I will be there every day and I’d love to see you. Come to Pewsey, to a new gallery, Made in the Pewsey Vale. Call in for a coffee and cake, a chat and a chance to catch up. There are lino prints (hand printed), Christmas cards and paintings. Not a bad time to look for some Christmas presents.

After Christmas
If you are searching for something AFTER Christmas take a look at our two weeks in Andalucia in March. Use the opportunity to immerse yourself in these week long workshops away from the cares of home. Michael and Andy are two extremely talented painters and tutors, and Casa Rosa is a beautiful, relaxing, comfortable place to spend time – a perfect combination.
Next Term
There is a feeling of renewal, fresh starts, and ambition at the beginning of a new year. In January, why don’t you join a regular oil painting course, or take a beginners’ drawing course – everything starts with drawing? Look out for information about these courses towards the end of November.
Workshops focusing on something challenging or new are an essential part of taking your work further. “On the Shoulders of Giants” is going to progress to “On the Shoulders of Two Giants”. We will be looking at the work of two major artists at the same time, examining a piece of work from each, using aspects of each artist to influence our own work. For example use the palette of one artist and the compositions of another. These will be a three day workshop. More information to follow.
