These are the final two workshops in this terms oil painting course. Matisse, William Scott, Still Life, will look at simplifying/abstracting still life, and Working from References will introduce you to ways to use sketches and photographs to make your work. You can purchase them individually. They are open to new students who have used oil paints but didn’t want to take a beginners course.

On this workshop will be working on abstracting or simplifying still life. Artists whose work we will look at are: Matisse, William Scott and Cedric Morris.
