In this 2 day Masterclass you will explore the concepts of wet felting surface design and collage through sampling and learning a variety of wet felting techniques (day 1) to produce your own individual artwork/collage (day 2).

Sarah is an experienced, international, felt tutor who will be teaching you how to use different fibres, prefelts and fabrics (nuno) within feltmaking. You will focus on design and colour mixing of the fibres, cutting and layering techniques to produce samples and a finished collage.

During the two days Sarah will be there to guide you through each of the processes and will take time to discuss your individual ideas, developing your skills at your own pace.

The series of samples will help develop your ideas and decisions for progress on to Day Two where you may want to continue with sampling or decide to make a final piece of felt artwork. The choice will be yours.

Suitable for beginners or experienced feltmakers the workshop will give lots of tips and skills for you to take home and develop.
