Try something new with Hampshire Art studio. This August join us for two weeks of workshops with new tutors, discovering new materials, and exploring different methods. There will be classes in many different media for adults, and a special day for children.
We are going to have an exciting, creative August…spread the word!
Come back for Hampshire Open Studios, and see a gallery of works and join our Community Drawing Project. All visitors will be encouraged to add to our almost life sized drawing of the River Dever as viewed from the Studio.
These courses are designed to encourage you to try something you haven’t done before. Materials are included in all courses so you can turn up with an overall, and a sandwich for lunch…everything else will be there and ready for you.
Our studio is on the banks of the River Dever, a chalk stream that runs into the River Test in the heart of the Test Valley. This beautiful and evocative site is the inspiration for many of our classes, and our August workshops are no exception.

Hampshire Open Studio
Immediately after the August Workshops the Studio will open for Hampshire Open Studio. There will be a very large drawing being added to, altered, and flowing in surprising directions – come, join in, and see the exhibition of works by tutors and students.
This will be an opportunity to find out about classes for the Autumn Term and for the next academic year.
