Join us for a morning of drawing at HAMPSHIRE ART studio. We will provide materials, and take you through a morning of different types of drawing. This is a taster class for other courses we have on offer. Have a look at Beginners Drawing into Oil.
Looking is the basis of all drawing and is surprisingly easy to ignore, especially when you think you ‘know’ an object. There will be a number of exercises to help you really SEE what is in front of you.
Drawing is a pleasure, a form of investigation, of recording, an area to experiment, to express yourself, doodle, relax and contemplate the world.
You can draw simply for your own delight – it does not have to be shared with the world. It is also the cornerstone and starting block for most forms of visual art. We take it seriously at HAMPSHIRE ART studio, and have fun doing it.
