There are times when it is good to get away from your normal life and to immerse yourself in something you love doing.
Casa Rosa Art, in Andalucia, runs retreats with expert tutors ready to guide you through an exciting, life enhancing week of painting, drawing, felt making, sculpture, portraiture…whatever is on offer.
Sam Clayden shows how Sorolla combined the sense of realism of Sargent with the Impressionists vibrancy of colour to create sunlit pictures full of life.
Finding freedom through watercolour painting can take time but if you can find two spare days then this course is for you. Join talented Christine Forbes, a regular tutor across the country including at West Dean College, for an exciting two days investigating new ways with water colour.
Join Kate Measham and discover how to find your way into a landscape painting – even in January.
This will be an exciting couple of days exploring different possibilities with quick sketches, more quick sketches, colour sketches, followed by more considered work.
Kate’s approach to painting is to remove the fear factor, to encourage experimenting with new ideas, look to other sources for inspiration, stealing if necessary. Take risks in this safe environment – surprise yourself.
