Sketch and Stroll at Stourhead (NT)

Architect Eleanor Measham leads a Sketch and Stroll at Stourhead workshop on May 13th, 2024. The workshop offers a guided springtime walk through an 18th-century English garden, where participants will create quick sketches at various stops and later choose one for further study. All abilities are welcome, and participants are encouraged to bring their preferred sketch materials.

Courses and Workshops From Now through Spring

New courses are available on Sculpture, Portrait Painting, and Oil Painting workshops led by experienced tutors. The courses cater to various skill levels. A new course offers a valuable opportunity to explore mindfulness through art. Sessions include tea, coffee, and in some cases, a light lunch. We have a new one day workshop, Sketch and Stroll event at Stourhead. For more information and registration please visit the website.

Perspective, Sky and Clouds

In January 2024, two new courses are on offer focusing on various aspects of painting and drawing. Sam Clayden will hold an online workshop about painting clouds and skies, targeting techniques like color mixing and aerial perspective. Meanwhile, Eleanor Measham will guide a two-day studio class about perspective drawing and architectural sketching, helping participants boost their alfresco sketching skills and develop perspective sketches.
