CASA ROSA
Casa Rosa is the perfect tranquil setting for art retreats.
The beautiful estate, Casa Rosa, was created by the Wakefield family who spent their lives travelling the world with the Foreign Office. It is full of treasures from various postings such as fabrics, rugs and paintings, plus old and new pottery from Spain and beyond, put together with style and comfort. The house is positioned to take full advantage of rural views, mountains, olive groves, fruit orchards and the gardens that surround it. The olives go to the Periana co-op, and the fruit is used in the house. It is a wonderful place to be inspired.
You will be in good hands during your stay at Casa Rosa with delicious fresh food sourced locally and cooked in house. The olive oil used is from the local co-op. The accommodation is first class with ensuite bedrooms to share, or for single occupancy. The grounds are simply beautiful with swimming pool, tennis court and art studio all available to guests. The house is full of character with extensive outdoor terraces. There are walks, olive groves galore and cultural attractions.
In Spring and Autumn there are a number of weeks dedicated to creative work. We have exciting tutors who share their knowledge and skills with students.
At other times Casa Rosa is just a creative space for you to fill as you see fit.
