This is Step One to kickstart your art journey.
Everyone finds it hard to get going with a creative course. Lots of you won’t have done anything creative for yourselves for years. There are so many reasons and excuses we give ourselves for not doing something that is just for ourselves.
Over these 5 steps of brief lessons enjoy the process and the brief break from normal, everyday life.
The trick is to try to make your engagement with the process into your new normal.
Take a look at how you approach the creative part of yourself – do you give yourself time and mindful space? Do you snatch time for yourself, or do you plan it? On your ‘to-do’ list, is looking after your creativity and your state of mindfulness top, middle or bottom of the list…or perhaps not there at all?
Take this moment to reflect on how you approach your creative activities. I bet you do more creative things than you realise. This quiz is designed to help you think about areas of your creative life that are working for you, and areas that are not.
There are no right or wrong answers – It is just to jog you into thinking about what you need to focus on.
